When you feel like life has turned you down. When you feel you made a mistake? When you think you are too old to change the troubles of your life. When you feel there is no answer in site for your hardships of life. I want you to know God-Jesus has not given up on you. When the world fails you because, they do not see your way. If you think God does not hear you. Just hang on. He is working in the mist of it all. He showed up for Joseph. It took joseph 20 years. He stayed faithful. However, that is not the story that I want to share with you today. The stories I want to show you today are two where it really looked like there was no coming back from anything. YES! ANYTHING. Death was the answer. The world believed that it was over. As we know the story of Jesus on the cross. It is not that story today. For these two people were not powerful in anyway. They were common people for their times.

Everyone in the bible thought it was over for these two people. If God fixed it for them. I know he will not be late for your glory story. Just remember to give him the glory for your story.

Now, there are two stories in the bible. The first one is of Lazarus Death. The second one is of Jairus daughter. I am glad there are two stories in the bible. So, that I can really make my point here. I say this because if you want to challenge my thoughts here. I pray you see just the facts and not your unbelief. Also, you see when we believe in Jesus. He has the control to change our life. God is Able. To do more than we could ever imagine. Ephesians (3:20-21)

Jesus will come right on time! Even death will show you that God is Able! He is never late!

The death of Lazarus. Three of Jesus closes friends were Mary, Martha, and their brother Lazarus. Oddly, when Jesus was told Lazarus was sick, Jesus stayed two more days where he was. When he left, Jesus said clearly Lazarus had died. Now in this story Mary has the unbelief for sure.

When Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” As you see Mary believed that because of life issues (death) it was too late. That Jesus could not turn this around.

Even though he showed up for them. That it could not be changed. Her brother’s death. Martha also had something to say about him being late. Now as the story goes.

Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the dead man’s sister, said to him, “Lord, by now there will be a stench; he has been dead for four days.” There you see she has little faith on this issue being changed.  Now let’s keep on in the story.

Raising his eyes to heaven, he prayed aloud to his Father. Then he commanded Lazarus to come out. The man who had been dead walked out, wrapped in burial cloths.

Now let’s look at the story of Jairus daughter.

When Jesus was in Capernaum, Jairus, a leader in the synagogue, begged him to heal his 12-year-old daughter because she was dying. On the way, a messenger said not to bother because the girl had died. Again, we see unbelief.

Yes, I know at this time you may be saying. This is not the same he brought back the dead. But it is.

I am attempting to show you here. In these stories it was the end of life for these two people. And Jesus worked it out. He was not late even though death had come for them. Now if you read on there were a lot more people who did not believe Jesus could bring her back to life.

Yet, the story goes on to show us not to be afraid, have belief and faith.

Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; only believe, and your daughter will be healed.” Jesus took care of that life issue by his faith. So, all you need is a mustard seed of faith for him to move mountains in your life. Matthew (17:20)

Look even the world laughed. Now, Jesus arrived at the house to find mourners wailing outside. When he said she was not dead but sleeping, they laughed at him. Next Jesus went in, took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up.” Her spirit returned and she raised up to life again. Jesus ordered her parents, to feed her but then not to share what he did.

Again. Yes! It is death nevertheless; what I really hope you see here is it is never too late for Jesus to turn around your troubles. Just have faith, trust, hope, and belief in him. He will make your path straight. Proverbs (3:5-6)

Dear Heavenly Father,

Hello There, I am a very spiritual person. My identity in Christ alone. I am a Christian however, I have a relationship with the Lord. I am not a writer. I am just someone who wants to share my story with others. I was told that I should write a book one day. Therefore, I figured I would start a blog. I am also not a great writer so, with that I figured. The only way to get better is to start writing. They say practice makes perfect. so, lets see where it goes. I hope you enjoy my blog. Mistakes and all. I am a work in progress. :)
